...a portion of a 12"x12" acrylic painted acid-free tissue paper. Layering the paints, stamping and stencils allows me to see all the possibilities in subjects and themes.

Artwork is created using pieces of flat material (paper, tissue, etc) pasted into a painting. This process uses mixed media to produce the effect of paint layered on the paper. Paint and ink are applied using hand carved rubber stamps, stencils, rubbings, etc.
